Seasonal Fellowship Events and Activities
Many fun and meaningful fellowship events and activities happen annually. The dates of these events will appear in our various communication pieces, including Neighborhood Notes, The WAVE and here on the website.
Our annual Christmas Pageant offers a wonderful opportunity for fellowship as over 150 members and friends work together to offer this very special gift to the community. Scenes telling the story of the first Christmas are set around the church property in tableau form with "actors" age 5 and up filling the roles of angels, Wise Men, kings, and of course, Mary and Joseph. Live animals keep the shepherds warm as the "watch over their flocks by night." The cast and crew are treated to a festive meal between the two shows which adds to the camaraderie. Join us on December 11, 2016 at 5:30PM and 7:30PM for this free, family-friendly event.
Neighborhood Church is one of the few churches in the world to have a Glatter-Götz organ, and each year, usually in the winter, we show off this magnificent instrument with an Organ Concertfeaturing a world-renownd or future world-renowned organist. This year, we will be hosting French organist Johann Vexo on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Tickets are $20 apiece and will go on sale in early 2017.
