Adult Music Programs at Neighborhood Church
It is not easy to anticipate what kind of music you will hear from the choir at Sunday morning worship. Each year the adult choirs (High School through Senior Adult) explore the entire spectrum of classical music as well as music from other cultures and traditions including Native American chants, African-American gospel music and spirituals, folk music and others.
Covenant Choir regularly provides music for both Sunday morning services September through June, however members of the choir are not required to sing for both services except on special occasions. Rehearsals are every Thursday Evening, 7:30 to 9:30PM with occasional Saturday morning rehearsals. Membership is open to all with tuneful voices, high school age and up. An interview with the director is an easy prerequisite.
