Key Wedding Information
- Our weddings are held on Saturdays at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM year round except in December.
- Each wedding party receives a two-hour and forty-five minute time slot on the property.
- The Sanctuary seats up to 300 people.
Scheduling Your Wedding
For more information and to schedule your wedding event, please contact our Office Manager at 310-378-9353 or
. Together you will go over details, review pricing, and confirm your wedding date and time, your rehearsal date, and your Marriage Preparation Meeting date. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive a complete Wedding Packet containing the details of your Neighborhood Church Wedding along with a form for you to complete and return to the office.
Our wedding director will work with you throughout the year. She will also advise you of the wedding procedures and policies of Neighborhood Church. She will be with you during the rehearsal and on your wedding day, up to and including the last minute preparations.
Our minister will help you plan your ceremony. He will help you with the content of your vows so they will be meaningful to you and respectful of our church's traditions.
Photography and Videography
Because the sound of clicking shutters and the relocating of photographers during the wedding ceremony distracts from the sacredness of the moment, we have guidelines regarding ceremonial photography.
Photography is allowed before and after the ceremony, however during the ceremony, your photographs and video may be taken only from a stationary camera, located at a position that has been well-selected based on many years of beautiful weddings at Neighborhood Church.
Our organist Rebecca Ogle will serve as the music coordinator for your wedding. She will work with you in selecting music that enhances your ceremony. She will recommend and/or work with other instrumentalists or vocalists.
